Hi Marc, Yes we would strongly recommend Magic Lube O-ring Lubricant when installing a pool filter o-ring.

I have a 4 filter Pentair filter with need for an O-ring - I cannot read the model number on the label - is there somewhere else to find it or should I just order the 19 inch O-ring??

If you are able to provide us with the images of the filter system showing it from the top to the bottom and include any of the label that is left up close where we may be able to read it. There is a good possibility we can identify it. You can remove one of the elements inside and check for numbers on the element and provide the dimensions to help narrow down what model you have.

Will this O-Ring fit a Clean and Clear Plus (CCP) 420? Tank?

Hi Douglas, this Tank O-ring (39010200) will fit your Pentair Clean & Clear Plus Cartridge filter unless it was manufactured between 3/2003-7/2003. That 5-month run of filters took this Tank Body O-ring O-333.

Which O-ring do I need for my Pentair Clean and Clear Plus #CCP420?
The O-ring which goes between the cover and bottom piece, not the gasket under the clamp.
Thank you!

Hi Richard, it sounds like you are looking for the Bottom Manifold Gasket for your CCP420 Pentair Clean & Clear Plus Cartridge filter. Don't forget to clean the surfaces and put some lubricant on them to help it seal and last a long time.

does this fit a pentair 150 clean&clear

Hi John, this gasket only fits the larger (Quad) Clean & Clear filters. Your Clean & Clear 150 uses this Clean and Clear Tank O-ring - 4652-03. Be sure to clean the surfaces and apply some lubricant for a perfect seal and to help it last a long time. New o-rings on these tanks are a little snug - gently rock the lid to and fro as you reinstall it.
