Hello, I may have already emailed you. If so, I apologize. I'm looking for a gas valve for my 13OA Raypak pool heater. It's a Milivolt type and for natural gas. The part /model # of the gas valve currently installed on my heater is a VS820 H2065. Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom, yes this would be the correct gas valve for your Raypak 130A Milivolt Natural Gas Heater.

For a Raypak pool heater, is this valve [6238-523] a suitable replacement for a natural gas and millivolt controlled valve on 3/4" gas lines, working with a pilot burner that powers the millivolt generator? Al

Hello, This unit will only work on Millivolt Raypak heaters. This unit will not work with your H series heater.

I have a very old AO Smith Mediterranean pool heater. It works great but I need a new gas valve. The one in the picture PART # 6238-523 looks exactly like to gas valve I need to replace. I mean exactly - knobs wire locations everything. Can I assume it will work as a replacement valve?

Unfortunately, I could not source any information for this model heater. If the Gas Valve, Ng, Mv, 130 - 011588F is identical (for use with Millivolt Select Models) and you would like to order it to compare to the current without installing it, you are welcome too. I have a Hayward H150 and this looks identical to my gas valve and the numbers look the same but I saw an answer saying it won't work for the H150? What is different that it won't work and do you have one for the Hayward H150?

Hi, Kenny. This specific version gas valve is only compatible with Raypak heaters. Please provide the complete model number of your unit so that we can locate the correct gas valve for your unit.

      Hi Kenny, so H150 refers to the general series heater that you have. The complete model number may also be inside the service panel of the unit.
