I was referred over from one of the other questions stating that this model is the replacement for the Hayward 5060. Are there any other additional parts or fittings that I need to order or is this a direct replacement without needing any other fittings?

Hi Ray, we would suggest replacing your Hayward 5060 Shaft Seal when replacing this motor. Outside of that you should be all set.

The part # on the original motor is SP2707Z1M, my questions are:
1) Is the P # SPX2707Z1M compatible;
2) Is there anything else worth replacing a this point, I don`t have any leaks at this time.
Thank you very much.

Hi, Carlos. This SPX2707Z1M is the correct replacement. I would recommend replacing the pump shaft seal and o-rings while you're at it. You will need to provide us with your pump housing model number so that we can locate those additional parts.

I purchased a Hayward Max Flo II SP2707ZIM pumpon yor order #916989 date 2/6/19. Installation was easy and it worked perfectly after installation on 2/11/19 and It stopped work suddenly on 4/21/19. It just hums and then throws the breaker.
Is it under warrenty?

Hi, Donald. The motor is warranted for 1 year. The motor will have to be shipped back for inspection and warranty review. I will reach out to the warehouse to get an RMA.

Hi Tom, Yes the USQ1102 will work as a replacement for the SPX2707Z1M motor, you will also need this Hayward Max Flo XL Shaft Seal when you replace your motor. We put together this Video on How to Replace a Pool Pump Motor which you may find helpful when you tackle this project.

I HAVE SEEN THAT, I AM ASKING FOR THE STRAINER ASSEMBLY WITH TRAP BASKET TO FIT THIS MOTOR

Hi John, You can find all of the parts for the 6060 booster pump here - Hayward 6060 Booster Pump Parts unfortunately there are no assemblies and all of the parts would be purchased separately. If you are wanting to use this motor on a pump wetend that has a strainer assembly (i.e. a basket for straining debris). The 6060 booster pump does not have an option for a strainer basket. If you wanted a strainer basket then a pump like the Hayward Max Flo II accepts this motor, but there would be a lot of parts to purchase. Your best bet would be to purchase this complete Hayward Max Flo XL Pump and then keep that motor as a back up as this pump uses the same motor. I hope that helps.

I have a Hayward 3/4 HP pump I am using for my pool cleaner. The motor won't start and I want to replace it.
The model of the motor shows Hayward on the top but Century Model C48D62A04 which is a 3/4 HP single speed motor. I can't seem to find this particular motor in any of my searches. Is it still available or is there a replacement motor you can recommend?
Hello John. The Century Motors 3/4 HP Full Rate Energy Efficient Motor model B2661 is a compatible replacement for the Hayward Motor model C48D62A04. This motor shares the identical Voltage Rating (115/208-230) and Total Horse Power (THP) of 1.25 HP (HP X SF = THP). Century 3/4 HP Square Flange 56Y Full Rate EE Motor - B2661 The Hayward Motor model SPX2707Z1M is also a compatible replacement - identical voltage and THP ratings. SPX2707Z1M It is recommended that the motor shaft seal and seal plate gasket be replaced concurrent with the new motor. If the Booster Pump is the Hayward model 6060, parts O-ring and Shaft Seal are recommended.
