No,the 4684-10A will will only fit the T-240BP-2. The valve you for your model T-240BP-1 need is part number 4600-1186 (261186).

I have a purex triton tagelus ta 100 with a purex triton tm-22 top mount valve an i want to change the entire valve, it has a 2" pipes, is this teh correct valve?

I have a 15 year old Aqua Tools sand filter. Model # AT3124. When I called the 800# listed on the filter body, it referred me to a Sta-Rite/Pentair 800#. My question: Is this top mount part what I need to replace my old one?

I purchased the TM-22-L valve for my Sta-rite T240-BP-2 sand filter. Inspected the laterals, etc., and replaced the sand. I still have sand leaking into the pool. Some diagrams for the TM-22-L show a O-ring gasket (Part#19) between the standpipe and the TM-22-L valve. I purchased this gasket, & it did not fit my standpipe. How tight should the standpipe fit into the bottom of the valve - should it be a watertight fit, or should it just be a lose fit? What diameter standpipe is required?

Hi. The valve is supposed to fit tight over the standpipe assembly allowing water to flow one way. The diameter of the standpipe should be 2.3 inches

I am about to replace my Sta_Rite multi port valve 14971-TM-22-L that just arrived from you. Is there a YOUTUBE Site that explains this? Also can I add some sand to my filter Cristal-Flo T-300BP-2 before I nstall the valve?

I have a waterway sand filter on a carefree sand tank. we are getting sand in our pool and it stays cloudy since I replaced the sand this spring. The tank calls for 150 pounds of sand and that is what I put in. Could the valve be malfunctioning and allowing sand in pool?

Hi, Ron. A bad multiport valve will not cause a pool not to clear up or become cloudy. Confirm that the port are connected right and that you have adequate flow. Once you've confirmed that use a water clarifier to help clear up the pool.

Is the TM-22 the same as the TM-22-L? Myine is just labeled as a TM-22 but I can’t seam to find anything but a TM-22-L.

We have a StaRite above ground salt water sand filter. We do not know the model # but do have a serial #4230111070023P. The wind blew off the disk that sits directly below the handle which changes the flow from filter, rinse, waste, backwash etc. We cannot remember where each function sits. Could somebody please send a picture identifying the different positions. I have attached two pictures showing the filter in "filter" mode.

does this fit a t-300bp-2? My manual says it does but I emailed pentair and they said my manual is wrong and I need WC112-148 retrofit by 261186. This one looks like the valve I have and its 2" rather than 1 1/2 like the 261186

Hi Robert, yes, the Top Mount Flanged Valve T-300BP - TM-22-L will replace the valve on the model RS-2520, RS-3015, RS-3020, and RS-3620 W Cooper Ranger Hi-Capacity Top Mount Sand filters. Parts for it are available here if you would rather rebuild it.
