Can this valve be used to replace the obsolete one on my comfortzone PSGII -180-N , Model 110-355 natual gas heater ?
It appears to be the same Rober Shaw valve , Pls advise if any other valve show be ordered to replace current one. Thx

Reg, The Nat Gas Valve (CHXVAL1933) for that Comfortzone PSGII Heater is No Longer Available and there is no replacement. I do not think that the RayPak Nat Gas Valve MV (003898F) will work.

Is the the "combination gas valve" for a Raypak Pool Heater, Model B-M055B-MN, and serial number 0609176928?? I need to make sure I get the right part. I called Raypak, and they stated the part # is 003898-F.
Thanks for confirming, either way, before we order.
Pam

Will this work in a Hayward h250 DE .type 401

Going by the list of parts diagrams this part is attached to, this is purely a Raypak part. The Hayward Heater Parts section can be found here.

Pilot is lit, when you turn the unit on, it sounds like the unit is going to light because it clicks but the unit doesn't light and the pilot light goes out. The gas valve is in the on position. Could it be the gas valve needs replacing?

Hi, Frederick. The Gas Valve or the Pilot Generator could be the issue. Reference your owner's manual troubleshooting guide for more info.

Is there a image or diagram on which wires go to the certain prongs on this product the PP. PPTH and TH. I’m not sure my is properly installed but also not sure how to fix it....

There are several different instructions that come with the gas valve. The reason there are several is because the OEM mfg can use several different mfg's of the valve using the same original OEM part #. We do not know if you have a Honeywell, a Robert Shaw or other brand and we also do not know if you have a standard or solid state thermostat on your heater. See snipimage that should help.
Can you confirm this is a replacement part for model BR335EN, serial 9803010218 please? I notice there seems to be slightly less wiring.
Is this the correct valve for a Raypak RP2100 Model P-R335A-EN
Serial Number: 0002017312
I added some photos of my existing valve for your reference.
Will this fit a Raypak model #151 WHG? This one looks a little bit different than the one installed on my unit.

Hi John, if you had the Milivolt version then yes this would be the correct gas valve. If you have the electronic ignition (IID) version then you would require this Raypak IID Natural Gas Valve Normally the electronic ignition models have a digital readout where the Milivolt models just have manual knobs for control.

Thank you very much. I have the manual knobs no digital readout. My system was installed years ago before I owned it. I asked the question because the tubing import looks to be on a different side than mine, I guess it does not matter to much where it enters, all else looks right.

Hi John, I was going off of this Raypak 151 Parts Diagram does this look like your heater? It says this heater was manufactuered between 1974 through 1982.

I am looking for a 1/2 inch inline milivolt gas valve for my 10 year old Raypak versa 055a heater. The pilot light stays lit but sometimes I have to rap on the gas valve to get the main burner to fire. sometimes it will light for 4 or 5 days ok but the last 4or 5 times I have to whack the gas valve and then it heats up fine. Help

Hi Gordy, this Gas Valve, NG MV Raypak - 003898F will be a perfect replacement for your old one, assuming you are using natural gas and not propane. This Propane Gas Valve MV Raypak (003899f) is for propane-fed heaters.
