Hi Brad, the SM10-A0 is the complete multiport valve and the E-50-S1B is the top half of the Praher SM10-A0. So if you need to replace the top half of your Praher SM10-A0 valve then this is the part for you.

Correction to my request for a diverter for a Tagelus (Pentair) sand filter - I said
a 5 spoke diverter when it is actually a 3 spoke diverter I need. I am only talking
about the gasket the diverter. Sorry - thank you

Jack, Please provide the model number on the valve. There are a few different valves that fit on the Tagelus filter.

Is this the complete assembly? Meaning can I just take the nuts and screws off, remove the entire top using the handle, and install the new one? It's got the spring and selector plate already assembled correct?

Hi Tim, Yes, this Top Assy is complete as pictured, the only part you may have to purchase separately will be the Diverter Gasket.

Mine only say TM-12 with no letters after the TM-12. Will this work on mine?
Also, does this come with an oring/gasket that goes between it and the bottom part of the assembly?
Also, does it come with a spider gasket?
Mine leaks a bit out the backwash when on filter setting.
And a little water is also around the handle area.
Suggestions as to what I need.

Hi. This is the Top Valve Assembly that is in the picture. This part can be used with the following valves; Pentair - Praher 1 1/2" TM12 & SM10, Zodiac Multiport Valve TM-12-H8, Cooper Industries Multiport Valve, Poolco Multiport Valve, and the Speck 1 1/2" Top Mount Valve.

Hello, this is caused by a failing or failed spider gasket. The part number E12S1/G-416 is the correct spider gasket and this is the correct top valve assembly.

I have a Purex/Triton SM10-3 Sand multiport valve. I believe the replacement top assembly is the E-50-S1B, and that the spider gasket is the E12S1 or G-416, is this correct?

Hi Ronald, This is the proper top assembly for the SM10-AO valve. Please note this top assembly does not come with the spider gasket if you would like to order the spider gasket then you will need to order this 4600-1104 Spider Gasket. If you want to purchase the entire SM10-AO Valve then you would purchase this SM10-AO Replacement Valve - 4700P

Will this part fit for a replacement on a Sta-Rite model S7D75 DE filter system? Mine is getting hard to turn a does not want to lock when on filter selection. Having water draining.

Hello Jim. Attached please find the Pentair - Praher 1 1/2" TM-12 & SM-10 exploded parts diagram for reference. The Top Assy., Valve 1 1/2" Black-with Label - E-50-S1B is compatible with the Pentair Praher Multiport Valve SM10 -2DE.
