Hi Mike, I would not recommend wiring the motor without a Terminal Board.

I hope it's connected right since my old board was arching and melted but now it just turns at a low rpm

Hi Paul, Check to see if the motor is wired correctly and if it is then something else is wrong with the motor.

Hi John, If you're referring to the part that switches the voltage of the motor, that part is not available as a replacement part.

Hello does this terminal board fit into a flotec water pump?

Hi, Julytza. In order to determine if this terminal board will fit your Flotec pump motor, we will need the  motor specs, like the MOD, PART and or CAT number.

Since the little black cube that switches voltage is no longer available and the cube is broken in 5 pieced Can I still leave the black wire attached and it does not appear the white wire was connected to anything. Can I just tape off the white wire or was the black and white wire attached together some way. There does not appear to be a spade connector for the white wire. I am running 120v not 220v.. If this will not work is there a replacement part it is a Hayward C48J2N131B1 - Thanks

George, You can connect the wires directly to the terminal board. If you are running 115v, the white wire would be connected to the top terminal. The only time the white wire would not be connected would be if you were running 230v.

I have the same question, but I am running 230v, and I currently have the black voltage switch. I am running red, black and green (ground) wires from my harness into the motor. How do I connect to the 230v; I see a terminal there but how does it connect to my harness

I purchased a new terminal board from you to replace one that had burnt ... thank you. Is there a wiring diagram that I can use when I replace the terminal block? (It's 230V.)

Hi, Iain. You can use our How To Replace the Terminal Board on an AO Smith Motor guide for instructions.
