I had a leak coming from my pump and I had to take it apart. During the process one of the brass inserts from the housing came out and got damaged. I dont need a whole housing, just one brass insert so I can screw the bolt in. Do you have just that part?

Hello Sal, depending on what pump you have there are 2 models a Hayward super II and a Leslie's Hydromax II. The Hayward Super II has Repair Tap Set, F/pump Housing Wg (sp1600tap) part 5110-22. Which is what you might be looking for, but if you have the Leslie's Hydromax there is no repair kit for that one.

I took my Leslie's Hydromax II apart to replace the motor. All went well and it's up and running but since then I have a leak coming from under the pump. If the Pump Housing is not cracked then the problem is likely the gasket on the Pump Housing, which I wondered about as I put it all back together. That gasket seems to be molded into the housing. Is there a replacement gasket I can get to try to solve the problem?

Hello Randy, did you replace the SHAFT SEAL 201 (GENERIC) - AS-1521. The only other part that is a gasket for this pump is Housing Gasket (spx3000t) - G-345 which goes in between the housing and seal plate.

I have a leak between the seal plate and housing on a HydroMax II that I can't stop.
Replaced the shaft seal, seal plate and housing gasket (twice). Water seeps between the seal plate and the housing.
Is there a good way to ensure the housing gasket stays in position when re-assembling the pump. Tried coating the gasket with lube.
Have you heard of the housing becoming porous and allowing water under pressure to permeate?
Thanks

This older pump series is known to leak in that area even after the seals are replaced. For the older generation models, the bolt ports were known to pull out of the housing causing leaks. They made a kit to reset those bolts ports. Please view the parts diagram here to view that kit listed as the very last item listed. In some cases, homeowners end up just replacing that housing or the complete pump.

Would this be the replacement I need? I get routed off the patent # to this or the 3020 but the difference has me more confused.
The picture shows the leak and is warped where the gasket sits allowing the leak.
Thank you
Hi, I have Hayward pump Strainer housing leaking I try to search model # SP3120 AAZ on the bottom of the Strainer ,on the side label SP3015 EEAZ can you tell me what Hayward they listed two different number I so confuse but you have one clearances SP3120 AA What the difference?
Hi, R. The SP3015EEAZ is the complete pump number and SP3120 AAZ is the Part # of the housing only. Each part of the pump has its own part #.
