we have a pentair dynamo pump, model number DYNII-1 1HP, part number 340197. The clear cover over the strainer is cracked. We are using Baquacil CDX. Could the
Baquacil have caused the failure? Do we need the Baquacil cover? What is the difference other than the Baquacil cover is black rather than clear?

Hi Nancy, I can't confirm that using Baquacil caused the clear cover to crack but I would recommend replacing it with the Bacquacil Lid (354113). The Bacquacil Lid are made with a material that is resistant to Bacquacil.

I am looking for what can be called a plastic strainer lid. I have a sand dollar pump system. The lid is similar to the one here. However I am not sure if it will fit mine. If it helps the pump is a a/o smith pump and the filter is oval in size. are the lids universal, or do I need to measure lid size? Can you help?

We have lost our lid for our pump. It says that the brand is Sta-Rite, but it is a dynamo series and the model # is DYNIIN1, but it is a 1.5 HP motor. Will this lid work for this model?
