My heat exchanger has a leak and trying to decide to replace it or buy new heater? The propane heater is 15 years old and has H350 on it. Is this the right replacement part? Would I be better off just buying a new heater to avoid something else breaking on it?

Hi, Paul. Putting that much money into repairing a 15 year old unit and then something else fails put customers in a regretful frame of mind. Replacing the entire unit would be my top recommendation.

Hi Paul, this would be the correct heat exchanger for a Hayward H350. If it were me I would lean towards purchasing a new heater because of the age of your heater at 15 years old and you run the risk of another part going bad. Here is a link to the complete new Hayward H350 Propane Heater.

Heat Exchanger Assembly - 350 (HAXHXA1353 is this the correct replacement for my H350 propane Hayward heater. the manual says HAXHXA1350. I also need a thermosat wire as the copper insert seperated from the wire. I am in NJ and need this ASAP as it is plumbed right into my return.
