I currently have a chrome face plate and would like to replace with this white one. Can I replace the face plate with water in the pool or does it have to be drained below the pool light.

Is this for a standard Amerilite 12v 300 watt inground pool light? Sorry got the winter cover on and don't want to remove everything to look..

Hi Timothy, all we would need to know is the cord length that you will need and we should be able to locate that Pentair Amerite complete light fixture for you.

Will this front frame match up with a SPX0580 face rim ?

I am having problems putting my light back into the niche. It popped out and previous owners had it rigged with some sort of clamps. I have sp-607 niche with a sp-581 light. Does this get held in with a screw at both the top and bottom. I can't tell if there is a screw hole in the top of the niche? Faceplate has holes at both. Just doesn't seam to be anything to screw into on the top.

Hi, thanks for the response. So after looking at the picture of the sealing ring, mine appears to be fine. My question is regarding how the light is held in the niche. There appears to be only one screw hole, located on the bottom of the sealing ring, is this the only screw holding in the light fixture? Looking at diagrams it seams like there is supposed to be a screw at the top also, but the sealing ring doesn't show any and I can't see a hole when inside my niche. Sorry for any confusion.

Mat, The fixture does not screw into the sealing ring, but the niche. There should be a screw tab behind the sealing ring on the actual niche. If that is not there, then you will need a Light Repair Wedge - 132 to keep the fixture in place.
