20k gallons, 60' suction head, 1 1/2" pipe, suction side vacuum type cleaner.
Sand filter and heater on return side.
My old Hayward is just plain old worn out.
I'm thinking this Waterways 1 1/2 hp is the proper high head capable pump for the job?

Hi, Eric. It will, however, with 1-1/2" pipes and the water flow your system pressure might be high.

Is this pump curve correct for single speed 1.5 Hp (100 GPM at 60 FT head)? Would this be a good replacment for my Pentair Challenger High Pressure 1 1/2 HP which curve shows about 80 GPM at 60 feet head or could I go with the Waterway Champs-110?

Hi, Chris. That info is correct. You can use the CHAMPS-110 pump to replace a Challenger Pump.

I have a Jandy Pro Series stealth 1.5 hp pump would this pump be a good replacement for it?
