I have a 4’ wide by 3 1/2” deep pool spa. The current heater is dead. Can I use this to replace my old one ?

Please review this Document on Electric Heater Sizing for Spa Use to see if the 5.5 KW will meet your heating needs, you may need to go up to 11 KW. Look under the section labeled for Residential Use.

Good Evening!! Thank you so much for your interest in our product!! A 5.5kw is typically a unit best suited for a small spa. However, we do have larger versions of this unit in 18kw & 27kw that may be able to dothe job in either a one or two unit configuration depending on other parameters of jobsite and your expectations. Would you like for us to perform a complete sizing of your pool? Thanks again for your interest and please let us know if you would like for us to help you further!!

We have a 30,000 gallon pool. What unit do you recommend?
Hi, Olive. You will need multiple 27kW - 017124 models to effectively heat your pool based on the desired temperature. Use the Electric Heater Pool Sizing Guide for more info.

I read in the manual: "Spa models (ELS 0005 and 0011) are supplied with
1-1/2" NPT inlet and outlet plumbing connections". Does it mean that include PVC union fittings?
