When should I change the sand in my filter?
Reply
You should change the sand in your filter every 5-7 years. You can generally tell that it is time if your pool water is not as clear as it normally is or when you notice the interval between backwashes is shorter. You can use > this guide to walk you through it.

Our pool is 30,000 gallons concerned the TA-60D is too small is the TA-100D over kill???

Hi JoAnn, If you can go larger on the filter it is always recommended as you put less stress on your motor prolonging its life. The filter can also filter out more debris and gives you more time between cleanings.

Have Tagalus100d. No air bleeder valve on the filter. How am i supposed to decompress it when priming the pump?
Reply
Hi Eugene, another way to release the water when priming the pump is by placing the multiport valve in the waste position before priming the pump and once it releases water while the prime fills with water to then turn off the pump, place the valve back into the filter position then turn the pump back on.
