Is the salt included with the salt chlorine generator?
Reply
No, salt is not included. You would purchase the salt locally and the quantity will depend upon the number of gallons of water in your pool. Use a salt that is at least 99.8% pure NaCl. The preferred salt is evaporated, granulated, food quality, and NON-iodized. Avoid using salt with anti-caking agents like sodium ferrocyanide, also known as yellow YPS (prussiate of soda). These cause some discoloration of fittings and pool surface finishes. DO NOT use calcium chloride.

After installing a new power supply. The screen is displaying a no flow message, but the pump is running fine and I have cleaned the salt generator.
Please advise.
Thank you

Hi, I would recommend calling Zodiac Tech Support at 1.800.822.7933 to troubleshoot, but it could be the AquaPure Flow Sensor.

I'm getting a 172 and 181 error code . How can I test the sensor to prove it bad ? ( just installed APUREM controller )

Hi Jim, Unfortunately, only by actually replacing the sensor you can confirm that your old sensor is bad.

Is this Generator/Controller a direct replacement for the Jandy AquaLink RS Unit? Please let me know. Thanks, Geoff

I have a aqua pure 1400 will this product replace everything except the salt cell and the trisensor? Also does a new sensor cable come with this item?

That part number is only the power supply, does not include the cell or sensor cable which is part number PLC1400.

I'm upgrading my old AquaLink RS board to iAquaLink (with the IQ20-RS kit) and want to add an AquaPure 1400 salt generator. Rather than swapping my existing power center for 6613-AP (no breakers), I prefer to add an APUREM subpanel power center and run the four-wire harness over to the iAquaLink board. Will that allow monitoring and control of the AquaPure from the cell phone app via iAquaLink?

Hi, Steve. You will be able to control the AquaPureM via the iAquaLink mobile app.
