How do I know wheather I need the T101M or the T104M?

T101 or T104 should be on the inside door of your current timer or somewhere on the timer. If you cannot find this information you can unclip the timer clock mechanism and on the back of the timer there will be a motor. If there is a part # of WG1570 or 120V marked on the back of the timer motor then you would require a T101M 120V timer mechanism. If there is a part # of WG1573 or 240V marked on the back of the timer motor then you would require the T104M 240V timer mechanism. I have a pool timer Model # T101P which I need to replace. The enclosure is fine can I replace the clock only? The Model is T101 MD89 would this be a match?

Yes if your enclosure is fine then this would be be the correct timer mechanism replacement for the T101P. This would be the complete insides of the T101P minus the outer enclosure / casing.

My Intermatic Pool Pump Timer - circa 1998 - has ceased to function. On the back of the timer it lists Model AND WG 1573-5..The outside box is fine I just need a new timer..What is now the correct current model? Thanks!

Hey Steve, I have m/n T12404R dual timer controller. One of the timer motors has stopped working. I've seen your step by step guide for replacement but, can't seem to locate a correct p/n for just the timer motor. Can you help?

Hi Bobby, The WG1573-10D will be the correct replacement motor for the T104M timer used in the T12404R unit.

I've got lights on my walkway and the timer isn;t working. I will set the time and it doesn;t keep accurate timing. Also, if I put the switch to manual it switches the lights on, but, the timer has no affect on the lights turning off or on. I'm assuming that the motor needs to be replaced. The model is T101R, what timer model should I order?

Hi, This T101M Mechanism will be the correct part if you want to replace the entire unit or WG1570-10D will be the replacement motor.

Hello Rick - The T101M (120V) would fit the PF1202T box but it is not the correct mechanism. The correct mechanism is the T104M (220V). I don't see any replacement for t1202 M1, you might try reaching out to Intermatic 815-675-2321 to see if there is something other than t1202.

i have a T1000R pool timer with I believe a T104M, the timer seems to work fine but it wont turn the switch on to run the pump however I can turn it on manually??? May be 230v

That replacement timer mechanism is part number T104M if it is 220V.

I noticed Terminal 1 and wires connected to it have turned black with 2 to 3 inches of the covers on the wires have been melted. Pump and clock are working. I turned off the timer. I don't know what caused the melting of covers on the wires. What do you suggest\?s Thanks, Fred
Hi, Fred. I suggest replacing the timer mechanism along with the wires to and from the breaker making sure that you're using the proper wire size.

Hi Tonia, We are showing that the T10004R Control Panel uses a T104M 240V Timer Mechanism and not this T101M 120V Timer Mechanism.

DOES THIS T104M EVER STOP AND START AT WILL. Just had 2 A>O>Smiths 2 hp. put in in last 2 wks and it's doing to same as before. Motor starts on time 3 or so hrs later it stops, then maybe a half hr later it starts again, On and Off everyday. Can it be the clock mechanism

Hi, John. This timer based on the tripper setting will turn the load side on the timer off/on based on the set times.
