Does this light include a remote control for programming or is that something that must be purchased separately?

Torin, The LPCUS11030 does not come with a remote control. You would control it with the light switch, unless you purchase a separate Automatic control system for your pool such as the Hayward aqualogic control system.

May I ask what is the difference between the universal colorLogic Pool light VS the universal ColorLogic Spa light for same voltage of 12V?
Is the size of the diameter different for pool vs the spa light?
Reply
Jeanne- The Universal ColorLogic for your pool will be substantially bigger than the one for a spa. For example LPCUS11030 will be noticeably bigger than a LSCUS11030.

I will be replacing my current halogen pool light with the universal colorlogic led light by Hayward. Do I need to buy the niche and mounting rings(is there such an item)?

Jeanne- If you are looking to replace your light with a Hayward ColorLogic LPCUS11030, you would need to make sure that it can fit into your current niche, as shown on page 7 of the manual. If you have an in-ground gunite pool, your niche is cemented in, so you need to match it up based on that particular model.

I'm converting my concrete pool from chlorine to saltwater. Will this light work in a saltwater pool? Any metal in the housing or face plate? Do I have to change the niche if it is metal?

Hi, Alton. The Universal ColorLogic fixtures can be used in saltwater pools.
