What is your pool size? Rule of thumb for covers for above ground, if you have a 24 round pool you order 28ft winter cover. You need to order the size above your pools size.

Is this cover waterproof? Note: I want to keep the rain water from entering the pool.

Yes it is. In fact my water level dropped over the winter by about 6". But don't expect this cover to last 15Yr. Throw it away after 3 years or it will be leaking through and most likely rip. You just can't find a good long term cover so buy cheap and throw them away.

What is the scrim size ?

Hello, The K2 cover is held secure on your pool with a heavy duty vinyl coated cable and tightener that is anchored by rip proof metal grommets made into the cover.
