Are the anchor sleeve difficult to install ? Do you need to drill a whole ?

Lawn tubes are intended to be driven into the ground to provide a firm base for the straps of a safety cover to attach to. Drilling will have to be done through the paver bricks

Can these be driven in to the lawn/grass? We only have a 1' radius around the pool then the grass.

Lawn tubes are intended to be driven into the ground to provide a firm base for the straps of a safety cover to attach to. These lawn tubes can also be used for pavers. When a pool has flowerbeds, brick on sand, or loose ground around it, that is extensive enough to prevent the installation of certain anchors, anchor tubes provide a superior installation solution. Their wide stance gives them the strength they need to keep the safety cover in place. With anchor tubes, simply follow your normal installation procedures hammering, or drilling 7/8" holes. If you are going into brick pavers, the anchor tubes should go all the way into the loose ground, as you need them. Insert your brass anchors into the tops of the anchor tubes and attach your springs and straps to them as you normally would. In situations where the ground is abnormally loose, such as new construction, you may wish to hammer a length of rebar through your anchor tube for extra holding power.

Does the brass insert only go in when i'm ready to install the cover. in other words, when the cover is not on the pool, is the tube flush with the ground so it is not a tripping hazard?

Hello Seth and thank you for your question. Yes the brass insert is only installed when you are ready to attach the safety cover. The tube top would be flush with the pavers or ground without the insert so as not to be a trip hazard.

Can I replace just the anchor and not the whole tube? Is there a specific size anchor I would need?

Hi Jim. Unfortunately, the brass tip of the anchor is not sold separately you will have to replace the entire anchor.
