I'm considering purchasing one of these. I tried to remove the current controller - the screws came out easily. But the internal cord goes off to the right and down the side within the unit. Do I need to disassemble the entire plastic cover -- fan grill top and all --- to unplug the wire to the current controller? Please advise, I'm concerned about buying a replacement if I can't see how to remove the existing controller.

Hi, Don. This Display is plugged into the Microprocessor located o the door. You will have to remove the service panel to complete the installation.

I have model 175AHDSBTK heat pump. I was told for replacing the display panel the replacement was part no. ESC0276. My old display is 81/2 by 31/2, your replacement says 71/2 by 31/2 looking at your specs. Do I have the right part no. or do I need a different part? Thanks

Good Morning Dave, Hope you are doing well. The ECS0276 will work just fine as the replacement in your heat pump. The cord is longer than the original, so make sure you secure it inside the unit to keep it from getting into the fan area. Thanks Robert Brown AquaCal Tech Support

Hello, I have read the comments and it appears that for my AquaCal 175AHDSBTK with the LBP0049 display you say that the ECS0276 is the right replacement. Mine is sun damaged and some LEDs don't display. But everything seems to work. My question is do I also need anything else when I replace the display unit? Such as an additional board? I've heard some units also need to have that replaced also, although I haven't heard that on mine. Thanks

Hello Craig. The AquaCal Display ECS0276 is compatible with the AquaCal Heat Pump model 175AHDSBTK. Attached please find an exploded parts diagram. Data Packet Based on the information provided in your communication and the manufacturer's I/O Manual, it does not appear that additional parts are required to resolve your Display issue.
