Is the heat exchanger on this unit Titanium? Is the compressor a "scroll" type compressor? Thank you.

Hi, John, This unit does have a titanium heat exchanger, and I was not able to confirm if the compressor is a scroll type.

What is the COP?

Hi Joy, as you know, the performance of an electric compression heat pump at a set temperature condition is referred to as the coefficient of performance (COP). It is defined as the ratio of heat delivered by the heat pump and the electricity supplied to the compressor.  The higher the COP rating, the more efficient the unit, resulting in lower operating costs.  The COP does change based on water temperature, air temperature, and relative humidity as expained in the Department of Energy's Heat Pump Pool Heater guide.  Here is the COP for the AquaCal T115 heater:Coefficient of Performance: (water temp/ambient air/relative humidity)80/80/80 = 5.680/80/63 = 5.480/50/63 = 4.0
