In one response you replied that it would not work for a Coleman pool because it is soft sided. Aren't the Intex above ground pools soft sided as well. I have an !8' Intex round soft sided pool and was looking at purchasing this pump. Can you clarify? Thanks.

Yes this pump and filter would be a good choice for an 18' Intex Pool, however you may need to purchase some adapters to connect the hoses to the pool. Here you may view our Intex Hose Adapters.

I am trying to find an upgrade and replacement system for my above ground pool, which is an Intex 18' x 48" pool. I have modified the pool by installing a through wall skimmer, suction inlet for vacuum, and standard outlet return, all hard plumbed with PVC. Would this system be a solid replacement and upgrade?

I have a Hayward 19 inch dreamline series system, well the tank is leaking at the seam after two years, apparently this is a problem for the model from what I have read. I'm looking to upgrade to a different system so my question is this a suitable system for a 24x52 Distinction LX model pool. I'm currently running a 1.5 hp pump but I think a 1 hp would be fine and has this unit had any issues with leaking tanks like the Hayward units.

Hi. This system can work but is a little on the small side. A 22" sand filter with a 1.5 hp system will be sufficient. I would recommend the Waterway System - BS5205340-6S.

For a 26 foot round above ground pool, this pump filter package or really any pump filter package with a 1 horsepower pump would work well.

Hi, I have a 15ft round with metal pipes. The pump/filter hangs from skimmer and the pump died. Will this work if I hook the hose to the return side of the original pump than to the pool? Because the original one didn't do a good job.
