Hello Radu, a 2 HP Motor EE - Full Rate (B843, B2843) would be a better choice than b2748, the b843 is an Energy Efficient and lower AMPS (b843) versus a single speed motor (b2748). Difference in kWh is depending on how long you run your pump and what area you are located in.

Hello Lonnie. The Century 2.0 HP Square Flange 48Y Up Rate Motor - USQ1202 is a compatible replacement motor for the Jandy PlusHP PHPM2.0. The Jandy PlusHP Series were constructed with 48Y frame motors. The Century motors model B2748 is a 56Y frame motor. Attached please find the Jandy PlusHP PHPM Series exploded parts diagram for reference. The Jandy Pump Shaft Seal (part key 5), and Backplate O-Ring should be replaced concurrent with the new motor. Please note: the shaft seal is specific to the pump serial number. Please reference the pump serial number to the shaft seal selection.
