Hi, Ray. You can, you will also have to change the motor to match which is the ST1302.

How is Impeller removed. Seems to be connected to main shaft with its own shaft as the assembly is one piece. Need to replace shaft seal. Thanks Pump: PL604 3 HP.

The pump stopped working and the pool is green

My lack of expertise repairing pool pumps put me in a great disadvantage. My other limitation was the lack of an appropriate tool. I bought 11/16, 13/16 and 15/16 sockets and none fitted the impellers’ bolt. I had to resort to other means to remove the old impeller. Once it was done, the rest was easy. New gaskets, new impeller and the pump is back to work.
