What is the difference between Prevent 30 Algaecide and Prevent 60 Algaecide?

>The prevent 60 is 2 x's as concentrated as the prevent 30. The Prevent 30 has an initial starting dose of 24 to 36 ounces per 10,000 gallons and a maintenance dose of 4 to 9 ounces per week, where the Prevent 60 has an initial starting dose of 11 to 17 ounces per 10,000 gallons and a maintenance dose of 2 to 4 ounces per week. Hi, The Algaecide Prevent 60 Low Foam 1 Qt is not compatible with Baquacil. Baquacil has their own Alaecide that will work with their line of products.

Quat 50 algicide wasn't doing the trick of controlling algae. Hit the pool with the quat60 stuff and problem disappeared and never came back. It even diminished my small dots of black algae I had in spots. I only use the quat60 stuff from now on.

It worked over night. The algae was gone in the morning. The product did not create any foaming.

Pros: Superior Algaecide Prevent

Do your homework and you will find this is the only algaecide recommended on most pool forums (polyquat 60). I have a high stabilizer level and this product is recommended as insurance against an algae bloom. Simple to use with no problems to note when added to water.
