Pool Solutions PH Minus is used to lower pH levels in swimming pool water preventing eye irritation, cloudy water, and scaling. The most important step in pool maintenance is keeping the pool water balanced.

For More Pool Chemicals
My alkalinity is 240 ppm and my pH is a 6.8. I've added a decent amount of acid to get to this point and obviously need to do some more adjusting. Is there anything else I can use aside from the acid?

At this point, I would recommend partially draining the pool and refilling with fresh water. The amount of acid you will need to add (depending on pool size) will bottom out the pH making the water very acidic. Partially draining and refilling will probably be a little quicker considering the fact that tap water is usually pH neutral.
