The 2x Suction PoolCleaner™ uses your existing pump and filter for power. This cleaner plugs into either your designated suction port or the skimmer. The 2x is ideal for most average sized pools (6' Depth or Less).
Features
Some of the features that make 2 Wheel POOLCLEANER™ unique:
SELF ADJUSTING TURBINE VANES
All the POOLCLEANER™ cleaners have the patented self-adjusting turbines, which maximizes the power from the water flow. This turbine is similar to a paddle wheel with blades that are adjustable. This feature allows the POOLCLEANER™ to still move at low suction and low pressure. In addition the folding vanes of the turbine allow for the easy passage of larger debris through the cleaner.
STEERING SYSTEM
The 2x Suction POOLCLEANER™ has an internal programmed steering system, that causes the left wheel to periodically reverse, allowing the POOLCLEANER™ to turn and then move into another direction. For the 2x Suction POOLCLEANER™ there are five different programmed turns ranging from 90 to 450 degrees. This feature allows the POOLCLEANER™ to cover not only the deep end, but also the shallow end. The POOLCLEANER™ has no problem with uneven surfaces or strange shapes. It won’t stick in a corner, or get hung up by a main drain.
ROBUST TIRE TREADS
One look and you will see that the patented tire treads give the POOLCLEANER™ better climbing ability and obstacle maneuverability. The tires come with tread wear markers that show you when to replace your tires. The front tires of the POOLCLEANER™ have humps (raised treads) that allow the POOLCLEANER™ to overcome any reasonable obstacles such as the main drain and uneven surfaces. This makes the POOLCLEANER™ ideal for all pool surfaces and shapes.
ADJUSTABLE SKIRT
The POOLCLEANER™ has patented adjustable skirts that allow the cleaner to maintain optimal suction under the machine even when it encounters obstacles. When the POOLCLEANER™ encounters an obstacle one (or more) of the skirts will lift up (adjust) over the obstacle while maintaining suction under the cleaner.
Smooth or Slippery Pool Surfaces

Will the PoolCleaner 2 Wheel or 4 Wheel Suction Cleaner climb my pool wall?

These cleaners may climb up a 1/4 of the way on the wall and will turn back down because of a flap mechanism on the wheel which helps it to keep from getting stuck and allows the cleaner to go in the reverse direction. Because this is a suction cleaner, it is only designed to clean the pool floor.

Determined that our existing pool Vacuum needed to be replaced. Contacted our pool service provider who recommended INYO pool supplier. We searched their webside and identified the new pool vacuum we wanted. We placed an order online, which was easy to do. We were able to track the order until it arrival. We unpacked the product and put it to use right after we received our packaged product.

After over 20 years of using a Hayward navigator (in all its variations - really the same machine), I finally got sick of replacing a myriad of parts which just kept getting more expensive but no better [I now have an attic with no less than 3 Hayward Navigators in it]. Knew I didn't want a Barracuda as I've had too many friends buy them to replace Haywards and they just don't cover the pool well. Did the online research thing and came up the "The Pool Cleaner". Thought I'd give suction side cleaners one more try before I spent the big bucks on a robotic cleaner. I have had the cleaner about 6 months now and am very pleased with it. It cleans every bit as well as my Haywards and was very easy to set up and calibrate for speed. With the Hayward, I ran my pump 8 hours per night, every night in summer and still had problems if there was a big storm. The Pool Cleaner runs 6 hours per night and I've had a clean pool after all but the worst monsoon storms here in Phoenix (15,000 gal pool). Only once did The Pool Cleaner have a glitch... after a storm a small twig got stuck in the rotating collar on the top of the machine and caused the hose to wind itself into a knot. This was easily fixed by removing the top cover with 2 screws. So far the impeller has 'eaten' everything is has encountered. The wheel treads show very little wear for all the running time in a pebble sheen pool and their cost will be much less than the feet and/or wings on a Hayward. Why did I buy from INYOpools? They had the best price! Delivery was fast and The Pool Cleaner, hoses, and manual arrived in one box pretty much ready to go. If this machine continues to run as it has this summer I will be very pleased. One more thing that really sold me on this machine as opposed to the Hayward. On all new pools, drain covers must be the raised type for safety. My Hayward constantly hung up on those covers to the point that I installed a pair of old flush covers just so it would cover the entire pool! The Pool Cleaner just pushes right over the raised covers without complaint.

The Pool Cleaner 2 Wheel Suction Cleaner was equally easy to install. The package included everything I needed, and the hose length was perfect for my medium-sized pool. Connecting it to the suction port was simple, and it started working right away. The cleaner navigates my pool effectively, reaching all corners and climbing up walls with ease until the very highest parts. Its two-wheel design ensures excellent maneuverability, and the suction power is impressive, picking up dirt and small debris efficiently. I appreciate that it doesn't require any additional boosters or complicated setups – it’s plug-and-play.

Bought this to replace my 4 y.o. Pool Cleaner. Old one finally bit the dust after 4+ years in the chlorinated pool. Time for the replacement. New hayward model seems to be basically the same as the original except it has 3 different sized debris throats. I put the largest on and it cleaned up what i couldnt easily net from hurricane Irma's mess (oak and bamboo leaves). I use with a leaf canister. Saw that hayward has a similar product aquanaut but i went with the tried and true.

I was skeptical when I first saw this little pool cleaner. We had used another expensive brand, and we were not really happy with it. This little guy goes everywhere. We're hoping this one will last longer because it is such a simple design, and cleans just as well as our previous pool cleaner.
