Hi John - The CMP 25830-200-000 valve is not corrosion resistant however we do carry the 25830-400-000 which is the corrosion resistant version of this valve.

Pros: easy to check, easy to clean
Cons: pricey
The greatest thing for my rainwater irrigation system, although i filter the water, still things get by and sometimes stopped my check valve from functioning correctly...with this checkvalve i can look inside without taking the cover off, if there is trash inside i just take the top off and clean it out.
