what about 28 ft round?

A  Answered on 4/27/2021 by InyoPools Product Specialist Robert M.

We've had 28' pool owners use the E10 and they advised us that it worked in their pool.

Does this pool cleaner have to be hooked up to the skimmer??? Or does it clean on its own?

A  Answered on 5/8/2021 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Phillip, No this pool cleaner does not get hooked up to the skimmer. It plugs into a standard 115V outlet, the power supply has a transformer so only 24V low voltage is going to the cleaner.

What about a 30’ round? Will it handle that?

A  Answered on 5/11/2021 by InyoPools Product Specialist Robert M.

You may run into issues where the normal pattern doesn't hit the farthest side. If that is the case, you could drop the cleaner in the spot that it missed and start it there.

Do you have a package where I can purchase the E10 and caddy to save some money.

A  Answered on 5/13/2021 by InyoPools Product Specialist Danny R.

Currently, we do not offer a package deal with the caddy.  They are sold separately.

The control unit is not waterproof. It must be protected from the elements.

I bought the Maytronics Dolphin E10 Above Ground Robotic Pool Cleaner as it seemed to have a solid design and was attractive. I wanted to table top mount the control unit. After all, it isn't too bad to look at and I wanted to position it close to the back door of the house so that I could easily activate it if I saw the pool needed a little sprucing up. Upon reading the directions I discovered it needed to be mounted out of the rain and cannot directly get wet or be submersed in water. However, no mounting hardware was provided for wood, metal or concrete. I fan to Home Depot, purchased a small level, marker and several wood screws. The mounting hole spacing is approximately 4" on the back of the unit. I chose a spot under my deck near my CircuPool chlorine generator controller. I used the level and marker to draw a level line, then with a T-25 torx bit, I set the first screw on the level line. I measured 4" to the right and set the second screw. The unit was then easy to hang and mount. Keep in mind to do all of this while the unit is unplugged form AC power and the robotic cleaner cord is detached. Happy swimming!
