What is pH?

pH is a measure of how acidic or basic the pool water is. Low pH can cause eroding of pool plaster, corroding of metal accessories, metals falling "out of solution", burning of eyes, etc. High pH can cause dull cloudy water, burning of eyes, skin irritation, etc.
