Pros: Great new dispensing design
Cons: They eventually do wear out
This is the third mallard I've had. My original was the white duck. In 26 years of pool ownership that's great longevity, especially in the California sun. I just purchased one for a fellow pool owner's birthday. She loves it too!

we have wood ducks in our back yard and we get lots of second looks from guests with our 'mallard' floating in the pool! As with some floaters they are difficult to rethread back together once you refill them with the chlorine tablets but with this one we have experienced no problems. Love my dog's reaction when he forgets about it and then the breeze moves it around the pool!!

We have used a CloriDuck Mallard Floating Chem Feeder for over 20 years. It is the best way to dispense chlorine on a regular basis. There are lots of mallards in our area, so one in the pool looks natural without looking phony. When we go away for a few days or a week, we don't have to worry about the pool being chlorinated--the duck does it!
