Does this come with the inside parts? If not how do you get the inside pieces out without breaking them?

Hi Diane, No this does not come with the inside pieces. Our video on How to Replace Sand in Your Sand Filter will show you how to remove the sand from the filter and once the sand is removed the parts can be removed relatively easily.

Does this filter hold 50 lbs. of sand?

Hi Melanie, The 4510 model filter requires 38lbs of silica sand.

Pros: simple to install.

Cons: recommend shading from sun, ozone hard on it.

Replacement parts came ready to go, no problems at all
