Jacuzzi Laser Filter Systems With SLR Series Pump

Features:

  • 14" (35,6 cm), 16" (40,6 cm), 19" (48,3 cm) and 22,5" (57,2 cm) MODELS feature our Upper Distribution System integrated into the dial valve and engineered for optimum flow – up to 25 gpm/sq.ft. (61 m 3 /h/m 2 ) without sand migration or channeling.
  • Non-corrosive resin clamp assures simple installation and service of the 7-Way Dial Valve and filter components.
  • 14" (35,6 cm) laser models are available with 5-way valve.
  • Underdrain with side-slotted laterals draws water evenly across the full diameter of the sand bed for higher flows, better filtration, longer cycles and more efficient backwashing. Features heavy-duty, freeze resistant hub and easy-service Snap-Fit laterals.
  • Extra deep sand bed for extended filtration cycles.
  • Bottom Drain for winterizing and draining.
  • LR Series Pump with Ring-Lok™ access to strainer basket. Patented air cooled heat sink allows pump to run dry without damage to the shaft seal. UNCONDITIONAL TWO-YEAR WARRANTY AGAINST SEAL FAILURE.
  • 6 ft. (1,8 m) corded models feature a 3-prong, grounded plug.
  • 3 ft. (0,9 m) corded models feature the NEC twist-lock plug (UL listed pump).
  • Injection-molded, high quality platform base provides a non-corrosive elevated surface for sturdy support of pump and filter.

I have a inground pool that is about 10,000 in size, and the pipes are 2". Will this product work for me?

Yes this pump and filter is sufficient fore your pool. You may need to reduce the plumbing to 1.5 inch at the valve and pump ports though.

Hi Lynn, Yes the Jacuzzi Laser 22.5" Sand Filter W/ 1.5 HP Pump would work on a 27' Round 54" Pool.

Hi. I have an in ground pool about 15.000 gals. Depth 3.5 ft. to 7 ft.. Would this product work for me? If not could you make a recommendation? My cartridge system consists of 4 ea. 20 micron filters of 81 sq. ft. filtration area for each. How big of a sand system ans size of sand would i need

Hi Valerie, this system would not work on an inground pool as it is not a self-priming pump. You need a self priming pump on an inground pool as normally inground pool equipment is above the water level of the pool. For a 15,000 gallon pool we would suggest a PureLine 1.5 HP Pure Water Pump along with a S244T 24" Sand Filter.

Pros: Pumps well

Cons: Hoses do not fit included fittings

Hook up was terrible with the hoses that came with this filter pump combo, they would not fit on the fittings supplied. I used my own old but better made return and skimmer filter hoses and had to cut the included hose from the pump to the sand filter to make it work. Once hooked up it works very well and the pump is very strong it's only been a few day running we shall see if it lasts. Super fast shipping.
