This is the replacement leader hose for the Hayward King Ray and Sun Ray Pool Cleaners. The leader hose is the special hose which plugs into the head of the cleaner. This hose measures 3' in length.

Are both ends of the hose female? What I need is one end male and the other female to work with the gray hoses that were with the new unit. the rubber white piece that came with the new unit has to receive a male end. Can the white receiver piece be changed?
