I think I have a watervalve with the 1 1/2 " pipes. Is there a water valve available for that pipe size or do I need to use reducers???
Reply
The Paramount Water Valve all comes with 2" ports if you have 1-1/2" yes you'll have to use a reducer .

I have 6 Ports Unit. It was working OK for 3 years. Now all the jets at the bottom of the pool stay open and they have stopped cycling like they did in the past. Also, two of the jets stopped popping up.Inside gears may be stuck in open positio? an Iopen the unit and fix the unit?

Hi, Jagtar. Replacing the Complete Water will resolve the issues that you're having. This will require replumbing. You can replace the module of your existing system if you're able to locate the model.

saw to cut PVC pipe. PVC cleaner and glue
Opened up the water valve unit and let the water flow back to the pool.
cut the PVC pipe 4 inches below the valve unit on all of the lines leading into the valve.
Cleaned and then Glued PVC slip fittings onto the cut lines.
Added PVC pipe to the top of the slip fittings making sure they were level once the cutting was completed.
Applied cleaner to both the pipes as well as the valve.
Carefully placed the new valve on top of the PVC pipe, making sure all pipes were installed into the unit. Twisted the unit once it was in place to make sure the glue was all around the fittings.
