This lid is for a Hayward Super II Pump if you use Biguanide sanitizer such as Baquacil and Leisure Time.

If you use Baquacil why is it necessary to have a different lid for the strainer than the one that came with the pump?

Hi Bob, The Biguanide Strainer Covers are made with a special material that will not react to the negatively with hydrogen-peroxide in Biguanide Sanitizers.
