Will this replace my hydrotools above gtound skimmer not sure of the model number but the top has a number of 8942 on it.

Peggy, This would work is the dimensions are the same. The width is 8 5/16" and height is 8 1/16". This particular model skimmer doesn't have a lid access

What would the wall opening for the Hayward SP1092 skimmer?

The image at the top of this page shows the Face Plate Dimensions for the Hayward SP1090 Series Skimmer. You should then be able to determine your cut-out dimensions based off of this drawing.

The # on the main body of my skimmer is 519 4100. Can I get the main body (holds the basket) only, to replace my cracked one? It looks identical to Hayward # SP1091WM Virgil

Hi Virgil, The main body is not available as a replacement, you will have to replace the entire skimmer. The p/n 519-4100 cross references to these Waterway Skimmers.

What is a direct replacement for a SP-1090 LP thru wall skimmer? Apparently this model is no longer available.

Hi Kathy I beleive the direct replacement would be the Hayward SP1090LX Skimmer but please check the SP1090LX Skimmer Dimensions vs. your SP-1090 LP.
