Can you tell me how far out the spring loaded pegs are? I currently have a 7-3/4" long weir that will not close all the way because there is an A/B epoxy patch around the skimmer cold joint. I want to order a skimmer that is about a 1/2" shorter that will leave a gap on either side to allow the weir to close all the way. This can only be accomplished if the spring loaded pegs stick out at least 1/2" on each side. Can you confirm how long the pegs stick out? Thank you!
