I am needing a replacement valve for a Sta-Rite 14962-0105. I have found two that looks like to be the same.
4708S list at $216
and 4708-O that list at $135.
Can you tell me the difference of the two and the manufacture of each.

Hi Mike, The valve that is listed as p/n 4708S is the only valve that can be used as a replacement for p/m 14962-0105. Part number 4708-0 is a clamp-on style valve versus p/n 4708S is a bolt-on style valve.

I purchased this replacement valve and I am now getting ready to install it onto the tank. The gasket that was included has a defect and I am afraid that if I use it will leak. ANd I thought that I would receive 8 new bolts and 8 washers.

Hi, Mike. The bolts are not included with the valve. Please sent pictures of the gasket so we can find out if the gasket is indeed defective.
