Hi Moliner, We do not have installation instructions on how to replace the Thermistor. I would recommend consulting a pool professional to have this item replace if you're not sure on how to replace it.

Hi, Thomas. You can test the resistance to determine if it's faulty. You will have to reference your unit's owner's manual.

Heater did not ignite

Written on 11/11/2019 by Guest

I ran through troubleshooting in manual, that did not cover the problem. Then I realized the number 126 was what the heater thought the water temp was, and did not think it needed to ignite.

In removing the old thermister, I found that it had corroded and the new one did not fit. This necessitated removing the manifold with 6 bolts, and clearing the hole. Then it fit. Reassembled, "We have ignition". Nothing complex. I used a small punch to scrape the corrosion. Less than 45 minutes total.

Were these instructions helpful?
