While attaching the motor to the pump, one of the bolts snapped. I cannot removed this bolt, and the seal is now compromised. What are my options? I have the Hayward SP

Sam, If you can not remove bolt you'll have to replace the the part that the bolt snapped of into and get a new seal.

Are these bolts supposed to be used with ss washers?

Hi Jerry, these are somtimes used with washers however they are not a necessity to mount the motor to the motor mounting plates.
