Does the Hayward SPX0740C valve stem come with the gasket?

The SPX0740C valve stem does not come with the gasket. If your gasket is still in good condition, you should be able to re-use it. If it looks warped or damaged, it should be replaced. Here is a link back to the gasket: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352028141.htm

This is what I call the diverter in my Hayward filter-allows you to re-direct the water to back flush. I ham handed the old one to the point it snapped off-this one is and exact fit-looks identical to the old one and I suspect it is OEM.
