When electrically hooking up the indoor vent to a Hayward pool heater H-250 (240v), after installing the vent pressure switch, via the jumper wire supplied with the kit. smoke came out the heater near where the electrical supply cable is installed to the heater. Please help?

Hello, We recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring. it sounds like you crossed a wire during the install.
