This is the complete DE grid assembly used on the Pentair, Purex, Pac-Fab and American Products FNS 60 Sq. Ft DE filter. (FNS-60)
The DE grids on the 60 Sq. Ft. FNS filter measure 30" in length. This is the complete pre-assembled grid assembly which includes 8 DE grids, top manifild, bottom manifold, template, air relief strainer, extension and tie rods.

I have an FNS 60 that is passing a lot of dirt. I believe the grid assembly is bad
What do I need in addition to the grid assembly for a grid change out

Hello, You will need just the grid assembly and that should fix the issue.

I bought this grid from you installed it and DE is returning to pool not alot but its there on floor. I changed the o ring on manifold pipe. no cracks. either.Should I change the spider gasket? never been changed. I always shut pool off before backwashing. Could the grid not be assembled correctly? Harry

Hi, Maureen. With a newly installed grid assembly, re0insoect the grids, manifold, etc, if all good then the issue could be the valve.

Are the filter grids for and FNS-60 and an FNS-60 plus the same size and part number?
