Do I put anything on the gasket? Do I just put it on dry after cleaning the surface?

Hello Krysta. A thin coating of Teflon or silicone based lubricant is recommended. Magic Lube O-ring Lubricant 1 Oz. Teflon Petroleum based lubricants are NOT recommended.
