The unit runs ok for a while and then its starts to spit and sputter an omit black smoke from the exhaust. Do you think this could be the gas valve or do you think it is something else?

Hi, Scott. The gas valve is not the issue, you will need to check the burners. They may need to be cleaned out.

i have a problem with my pool heater H series , the issue about to change the gas fuel from LPG to LNG , the heater was not responding can not working while using LNG , what is the possibility caused ? should i have to change the gas valve and the noozle / burner orifice with the LNG type ?
