Kreepy Krauly upkeep for best performance

If you use a Kreepy Krauly, you need to use this pad to keep the foot of the Kreepy from wearing out. We replace this about every 5 years or so and have only replaced the entire Kreepy once since we installed the pool in 1976. The pad should be inspected occassionally (about monthly during use) and turned slightly so that the wear will be distributed over the entire pad. That will prolong it's life.

Pros: As described, OEM fit, easy replacement
Cons: none
Footpad as described. Worried about wear on the main body as I was remiss in replacing the footpad and there was some wear on the flange the footpad slips on to, but its been operating for three weeks now and hasn't come off once, so I think it didn't wear as much as I thought.
