how do I remove the old one and install the new one? thank you

Carefully pull out the worn or damaged flex strips from the slots on the bottom of the vacuum head. You might need to use a flathead screwdriver to help pry them out if they are tightly fitted. Slide the new flex strips into the slots where the old ones were removed. Make sure they are securely fitted and flush with the bottom of the vacuum head. You may need to use a small amount of force to push them into place.
