Yes, it does. The CX1750RE is the replacement cartridge for the C17502 and C17502S.

The fitting on top of the housing that tightens down the filter is leaking. I need a new O ring or whatever it is to stop the leak. Do you sell parts to repair that or do I need to replace the hole upper housing of the filter? What part(s) do I need and how much are they?

Hi, Charles. You can first try replacing the Filter Head O-ring (CX900F) to see if that will stop the leak. If that solution doesn't work then at that point would strongly recommend closely inspecting the head and body of the filter to find out what's causing the filter to leak.

The filter top keeps popping off. We replaced the steel rod and it continues to come out of the threading at the bottom unit. Is this a common solution to this problem? Also, how would I detatch the fittings from the old unit and re-attach to the new unit?

Hi, Dawn. Check the threads of the bottom to see those are stripped. You will have to cut the plumbing to remove the old filter so that you can install the new one.
