Please explain the difference between the standard dolphin replacement filter bags, disposable filter bags, how often to replace, can you just pull out and wash?
 Reply

A  Answered on 7/10/2007 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The standard dolphin replacement filter bags are designed to handle finer debris like sand and silt and these bags typically lasts 3 years. The standard bags also can be washed in a washing machine using no detergent. The disposable filter bags are designed to handle larger debris like leaves and twigs and are recommended when opening the pool in the spring or closing the pool in the fall. The disposable bags last 2-3 cleanings and may be purchased through this link http://www.inyopools.com/Products/00100001004983.htm

I need a part for my Dolphin pool cleaner but I don't see it on the parts breakdown. Is there still a chance you may still have it?

The manufacturer which is Maytronics, does not offer all parts for sale. If you don't see a part on the breakdown you can give us a call. For parts that they do not consider "DIY (do it yourself), you will need to contact them and send in the cleaner for repair.

Dolphin Pool Cleaner would not sink to pool bottom because filter bag was filled with air

Written on 7/18/2021 by Guest

Letting the filter bag dry out allows the mesh to contain air like a balloon. Soaking the filter bag with water BEFORE putting the Dolphin Pool Cleaner in the pool will prevent the cleaner from floating. Alternatively, if the filter bag causes the cleaner to still float, poke/flip/tip the cleaner on its side with the leaf rake/vacuum pole until the air bubble releases through the bottom or sides of the cleaner (since the filter bag traps the air when sitting upright).

Filter bag was worn out had holes and elastic had no stretch left.

When this new bag arrived, I did'nt think it looked like the right bag for Dolphin pool cleaner that I have. I slipped over the bag holder and got it positioned right, and the bottom was a real tight fit which I liked. I put the bag clips on, slipped the bag holder in the cleaner, and it not only fit and looked great, the unit worked perfect. This bag is a little thicker than the original, but I think it does great picking up leaves and debris, it picks up fine dirt on the bottom real well too. Thank you for a great replacement bag.

Dolphin Robot was Spewing out Debris

Written on 5/22/2019 by Guest

1-Opened Robot and found filter bag seam had split

2-Google searched for my Dolphin (15 years old) robot and found a few sites that had it

3- Inyo Pool site was easiest to confirm that this was the correct bag

4- Inyo Pool had a good price and most importantly I could confirm this was the correct filter

5- Filter arrived promptly - same quality of original bag (which lasted 15 years)

6- Opened robot and replaced bag - fit like the original

7- Robot is working and pool is clean.
